25 WORDS OR LESS HOLIDAY 2025 INSTAGRAM GIVEAWAY CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
Who Can Enter:
“Entrants” must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”) (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories and possessions) (“U.S.”) and who are currently physically located therein. All Entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry. If the Entrant is from a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she is ineligible to enter the Giveaway. For purposes of this Giveaway, a minor is defined as a resident of (i) Alabama or Nebraska who is under nineteen (19) years of age, (ii) Mississippi who is under twenty-one (21) years of age, and (iii) any other state of the U.S. or D.C. under eighteen (18) years of age (“Minor”). Entrants must have either a valid Social Security number or a valid U.S. Individual Taxpayer Identification Number. Entrants must have lawful access to the method(s) of entry set forth in these official rules (“Rules”).
Employees of Fox Television Stations, LLC or Dino Bones Productions, Inc. (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family and household members of each are ineligible. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and stepchildren. The term “household members” refers to people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Giveaway Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
When to Enter:
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
The Giveaway begins Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) and all entries must be received by Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) (the “Giveaway Period”). The Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Giveaway. An individual, household, and/or immediate family may win only one (1) time during this Giveaway Period.
How to Play:
One (1) video will be posted to the @25wordsorlesstv Instagram account on or about Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) (the “Giveaway Post”). The Giveaway Post, including its caption, will provide instructions for eligible participants (“Entrants”) on how to enter the Giveaway. To enter, Entrants must:
- Like the Giveaway Post,
- Follow the @25wordsorlesstv Instagram account, and
- Comment with the word “JOY” on the Giveaway Post.
After an Entrant submits a comment containing the word “JOY,” an automated Instagram direct message (“DM”) will be sent to the Entrant from the official @25wordsorlesstv Instagram account asking the Entrant to confirm entry. The Entrant must follow the instructions in the DM and successfully confirm entry (“DM Confirmation”) in order to receive one (1) entry into the random prize drawing. Comments that do not result in a completed DM Confirmation will not be considered valid entries.
Limit one (1) entry per Entrant for the entire Giveaway Period, regardless of the number of comments left on the Giveaway Post. Only eligible entries (including a completed DM Confirmation) submitted during the Giveaway Period will qualify for the prize draw.
Selection and Notification of Winners:
At the conclusion of the Giveaway Period, all valid entries will be compiled into one (1) randomized draw. One (1) winner will be selected through a random drawing from among all valid entries. The drawing will take place on or about Thursday, December 18, 2025. A valid entry is defined as an Instagram comment on the Giveaway Post submitted during the Giveaway Period by a Entrant who meets all eligibility requirements and complies with the entry instructions outlined above, including completion of the DM Confirmation and proof of eligibility if requested.
The potential winner will be contacted on or about Thursday, December 18, 2025 via Instagram Direct Message from the official @25wordsorlesstv Instagram account (“Prize Notification”). The winner must provide their email address within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the Direct Message. Following this, the winner will be contacted via email from digital@25words.com (“Winner Notification Email”) and must provide the following information (“Required Information”) by December 22, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST):
(i) A valid physical mailing address within the United States for Prize shipment,
(ii) Proof of date of birth, and
(iii) Any additional information requested by the Sponsor.
Failure to provide all Required Information within the designated time frame or failure to respond to the Winner Notification Email will result in disqualification. If the winner cannot be reached or does not respond with all Required Information within the specified time, an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing if, in Sponsor’s reasonable discretion, time permits and in compliance with these Giveaway Rules.
The Prize:
The winner will receive one (1) 25 Words or Less classic board game, produced by USAopoly (the “Prize”). The Prize will be autographed by 25 Words or Less host Meredith Vieira, as well as multiple celebrity guest contestants featured in Season 7 of the 25 Words or Less game show. The approximate retail value of the prize is $25. The prize is provided by Fox Television Stations, LLC and Dino Bones Productions, Inc.
The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner. The winner cannot assign or transfer the Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.
The winner is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the Prize set forth in these Rules.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
Entrant’s Information:
Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, voices, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs (if any) for broadcast, online posting, and/or in any other media, including for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation.

Miscellaneous:
The Giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the Giveaway, or in the announcement of the Prize. In the event of a dispute over who submitted a particular entry, Sponsor will determine the Entrant’s identity or select an alternate winner, in its sole discretion.
Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other Giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entry materials may be maintained as part of Fox Television Stations’ giveaway records. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Giveaway if it becomes technically or otherwise corrupted. Any attempt by any participant to submit more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void all entries and that participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
