25 WORDS OR LESS BOARD GAME SUMMER GIVEAWAY

OFFICIAL RULES

Who Can Enter:

1. “Entrants” must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”) (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico, and all other United States territories and possessions (“U.S”) who are currently physically located therein. All Entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry. If Entrant is from a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she is ineligible to enter the Giveaway. For purposes of this Giveaway, a minor is defined as a resident of (i) Alabama or Nebraska who is under nineteen (19) years of age, (ii) Mississippi who is under twenty-one years of age, and (iii) any other state of the U.S. or D.C. under eighteen (18) years of age (“Minor”). Entrants must have either a valid Social Security number or a valid U.S. Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.  Entrants must have lawful access to the method(s) of entry set forth in these official rules (“Rules”).
2. Employees of Fox Television Stations and Dino Bones Productions, Inc. (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family and household members of each are ineligible.

How To Enter:

3. To enter the 25 Words Or Less Board Game Summer Giveaway (“Giveaway”), qualified Entrants must go to the 25 Words Or Less Website at 25words.com/giveaway and play the summer-themed game. A correct answer will take Entrant to a form to input their personal contact information (i.e., first and last name, email address, and phone number) (“Contact Information”). Upon completion of the personal information Entrant will be entered into the Giveaway (“Valid Entry”). No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

When to Enter:

4. The Giveaway begins Friday, August 18, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) and all entries must be received by Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) (“Entry Period”). 

How to Play:

5. As of August 18, 2023, beginning midnight PT each Friday for the following consecutive five (5) weeks, a different weekly summer-themed game will be displayed for one (1) week on the 25words.com Giveaway page until the following Thursday at 11:59 p.m. PT. The Giveaway page will be reset with a new summer-themed game each subsequent Friday at midnight PT during the Entry Period. Once the Giveaway page is reset, Entrants cannot submit answers to prior weeks. Upon viewing the Giveaway page, Entrants will be provided three (3) clues that describe a summer-themed answer. Entrants typing in the correct answer will be prompted to input their personal contact information (i.e., first and last name, email address, and phone number) (“Contact Information”). Entrants who select the correct answer and provide their Contact Information shall be entered into the drawing (“Valid Entry”).  Entrants submitting incorrect answers will be prompted to return the following week to try again by playing the new summer-themed clues beginning each Friday. Entrants may only submit one (1) entry per week. Entrants who enter multiple weeks increase their chances of winning, although each Entrant may only win one once during the 25 Words Or Less Board Game Summer Giveaway. All Valid Entries will be compiled into one random drawing.

Any attempt by an Entrant to enter the Giveaway using multiple different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins, or any other methods other than described herein including, but not limited to, commercial contest/giveaway/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant will be disqualified. If Entrants use a web-enabled mobile device to participate, data rates may apply (Entrants should contact their service provider for data rates/plans). Entrants should use care and not drive or operate machinery while entering the Giveaway.

The Prize:

6. Each of the twenty-five (25) winners will be shipped one (1) 25 Words Or Less board game (“Prize”). The Prize is provided by USAopoly, Inc.
7. Only one (1) Prize will be awarded per household.
8. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners. The winners cannot assign or transfer the Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.
9. Winners are responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the Prize set forth in these rules or a substituted prize.

Selection and Notification of Winners:

10. Twenty-five (25) winners of the Giveaway. After the Entry Period has concluded, winners will be selected by random drawing from among Valid Entries, and the random drawing will occur on or about Friday, September 22, 2023.
11. Winners will be notified by the digital@25words.com e-mail on or about Monday, September 25, 2023. The winner(s) must respond to prize notification within two (2) days with their physical address and proof of date of birth or they will be disqualified. If a winner cannot be reached or does not respond to prize notification, within the designated time period, Dino Productions Digital Department will select an alternate winner by random drawing if, in Dino Productions Digital Department’s reasonable discretion, time permits.
12. For a list of Prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope no later than six (6) months following the end of the Entry Period, to: Dino Bones Productions, 1999 S Bundy Drive, Floor 3, Los Angeles, California, 90025

Entrants’ Information:

13. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for broadcast, online posting, and/or any in any other media, including for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation.

Giveaway Rules:

14. Each Giveaway page will include a condensed version of the Rules.  The full Rules will be available on the 25 Words Or Less website at 25words.com/giveawayrules during the Entry Period (i.e., Friday, August 18, 2023 – Thursday, September 21, 2023).

Miscellaneous:

15. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the Giveaway, or in the announcement of the Prize. In the event of a dispute over who submitted a particular entry, Dino Bones Productions Digital Department will determine the Entrant’s identity or select an alternate winner, in its sole discretion.
16. Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other Giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entry materials may be maintained as part of Fox Television Stations Giveaway records. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Giveaway if it becomes technically or otherwise corrupted.
17. By entering, Entrants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy located at www.25words.com.
